Circle K Celebrates €3.8 million Lotto Win with 10c Fuel Drop at Kilmainham Service Station

Kilmainham ticket was one of two winning tickets, with a Jackpot totalling €7.7million
The National Lottery announced today that Circle K Kilmainham, Dublin 8, has sold a winning ticket for last Wednesday night’s Lotto Jackpot, worth over €3.8million, to a lucky customer. To celebrate, Circle K is dropping fuel prices at its Kilmainham service station by 10c until 10pm tonight. The Kilmainham winning ticket was one of two Lotto Jackpot tickets, both worth €3.86m, announced by the National Lottery today. The total jackpot was approximately €7.77m.
The winning tickets are the first Lotto Jackpot won in 2020 and it is the first time the Lotto Jackpot has been shared between two players in over two years. The customer who purchased the winning ticket at Circle K Kilmainham has yet to come forward.
Joanne D’Arcy, Senior Director of Retail Operations at Circle K, said of the win: “We are delighted to have heard that a customer of our site at Circle K Kilmainham has won a Lotto Jackpot and are pleased to announce that we are celebrating this win by dropping our fuel prices at the winning site by 10c for a limited time today.
We are also delighted for the staff at Kilmainham and we wanted to extend the celebrations by offering a 10c off all miles fuel to our customers in the locality. I would encourage all customers who purchased a Lotto Jackpot ticket at the service station yesterday, to check it carefully and contact the National Lottery team if they have won.”
A spokesperson for the National Lottery advised: “If you are the winner of this split €7.7 million Lotto jackpot, the first time it has been won by two lucky ticketholders since May 2017, please be sure to sign the back of your ticket and keep it safe – it’s a very valuable piece of paper. You can then contact the National Lottery prize claims team as soon as you can on 01 836 4444 and we will make arrangements for you to come to the Winner’s Room and collect your prize.”
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to good causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €5.6 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 32 years ago. In 2019 alone, €250 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
